Adele Blew Up Twitter During The Grammys

The 2012 Grammys have come and gone, and for many people they will be remembered as Adele's big night. She won a total of six awards on the night, including Pop Vocal Album, Pop Solo Performance, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and the most important Album of the Year award for "21."

And it was during that big win that the most tweets per second were achieved on the night. As Adele won Album of the Year, Twitter users sent 10,901 TPS.

The Grammys themselves were a hot topic of Twitter conversation all day - before, during, and after the show. Performances from Jennifer Hudson and Deadmau5 generated a lot of chatter, and Twitter reports that from Sunday at noon to midnight PT, 5 million+ tweets were sent out mentioning some aspect of the Grammys.
