Will Ferrell is now a co-owner of LAFC--the Los Angeles Football Club.

ESPN shared two humorous Tweets about Ferrell's co-ownership.

The LAFC--an MLS expansion team--is expected to begin play in 2018.

Sports Illustatred's Grant Wahl made sure fans know Will Ferrell isn't the first actor and comedian to be an MLS co-owner.

Fox Sports hopped on today's Will Ferrell bandwagon, too,

Making sure they weren't left out, NBC Sports shared their Will Ferrell laughs--in the form of his character, Anchorman's Ron Burgundy.

Will Ferrell has likely bought into a team that will prove successful. The LA Galaxy is among one of MLS's big names. Expectations are running high for LAFC.

If success isn't in Will Ferrell's future as a MLS co-owner, the SNL alum always has his comedy to fall back on--and will no doubt share some great jokes in the next couple of years about team ownership.
