Whether you are looking to plan the perfect family vacation or looking for a romantic getaway, cruises offer the perfect budget friendly vacation for everyone.

Among the most popular vacations for families this summer are Orlando, England, Jamaica, MSC Cruises, Tahiti, South Florida, and of course the Bahamas.

InsureMyTrip, a travel insurance comparison site, recently released a summer travel guide, which included the Caribbean in the top five. 25% of those pulled for a survey of U.S. travel plans indicated they will be taking cruises. Florida is a pretty great spot to start before soaking up some of the other popular spots.

Those looking for such a getaway should check out something like Holiday Cruise Line whose guest cruise on the Grand Celebration cruise ship which has been called “Florida’s best Bahama’s 2 night cruise”. The ship offers budget minded Bahamas cruises every other day from West Palm Beach to Grand Bahama Island.

Grand Celebration Cruise also includes live musical acts, such as KT Turnstall and The Marshall Tucker Band this summer. It has a great deal of diversified activities with plenty for the whole family.

There are two pools and three jacuzzis, as well as four restaurants including three with flex dining options. There’s also a Las Vegas-style casino with a variety of slot machines and traditional table games like black jack and poker, as well roulette and craps.

Beyond the restaurants and casino, the cruise has 8 bars and lounges to keep you from getting too thirsty.

There’s a spa, sauna and wellness center as well as a gym with weights, stationary bicycles and treadmills.

The cruise even offers shopping and a a performance art center.

For the kids, there various supervised activities including a jungle gym, ball pit, outdoor kids pool with slides, a rock wall, running space, a movie theater, gaming consoles, an a full arcade room. There’s even a basketball shooting contest.

Of course this is just one cruise example, but it gives you an idea of the wealth of activities and fun in store for taking this type of vacation, which is probably why so many have them planned. You gotta love the idea of having so much to do without the stress of tracking down tourist attractions that comes with non-cruise vacations.
