John Travolta was in Georgia earlier this week to renew his pilot’s license when he ran into a sweet young couple at a bar who said they were getting married the next day. Naturally, when you give Travolta information like that, he’s going to run with it.

The “Pulp Fiction” star showed up the next day for photo ops with the happy couple and their wedding party, wearing the same clothes he wore the night before, and the couple posted the pics to Reddit, where they went viral.

This isn’t his first time around a stranger’s wedding; in 1977, he crashed a party in Santa Barbara with Robin Williams.

“We were having fun, starting to relax, when we saw there was a wedding next door,” Travolta said. “We figured we’d crash it.”

“They figured out who we were,” Williams said. “Some guy yelled out, “Hey, they really are Mork and Vinnie Barbarino!’”

Travolta has had a rough few years, between the death of his son Jett in 2009 and the myriad accusations and lawsuits from men claiming Travolta solicited them for sex, but it looks like he’s not letting the controversy stop him from having a little fun, and it certainly isn’t stopping fans from allowing him to crash the biggest day of their lives.

I understand that we live in a culture of celebrity worship, but I find his actions rude. He crashes a formal event *in denim and a tee shirt* and we all think this is okay? I would be pretty ticked if someone, celebrity or not, crashed my wedding.

Would he be okay if the bride and groom just showed up at one of his parties? Doubt it.

Good point about one of us just showing up at his parties. It was rude of him and he must have had a fondness for the two, if you know what I mean.

Maybe Travolta told them he wanted to watch them on their honeymoon night, or if they ever divorce, he told the woman to come and live with them. Someone with ego and being drunk/high would crash a wedding like that. lol

My guess the couple did not mind as they could have told him, “No!” If John Travolta and Robin Williams should up where I was I would be delighted to talk with them. They appear to be real nice men.

Honestly, folks! Do you really think he just showed up? Obviously after talking with this couple at the bar over a few drinks, which he most likely paid for, they invited him personally to show up at their wedding the next day. I think it was a nice gesture on his part, and I’m sure the bride and groom were thrilled.
