Adding to attempts to secure her privacy and keep a low profile before her September 23 sentencing date, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice has begged producers of the show at Bravo to refrain from filming her in the courthouse. Giudice and her husband Joe have been charged with conspiracy to commit mail, wire and bank fraud, to which the couple pled guilty after reportedly striking a deal with federal prosecutors. The Giudices are to be sentenced on September 23, 2014.

RadarOnline reported that Giudice has asked Bravo executives not to send cameras to the courthouse for her sentencing, but Bravo is ignoring her plea in order to catch this juicy bit of Giudice’s life. The network is reportedly going to use the footage for the reunion episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Teresa Giudice and her husband admit to fraud

A source said, “Teresa doesn’t want cameras from Bravo to be at her sentencing, and has told producers of the show her thoughts. Bravo doesn’t care what Teresa wants or thinks, and they are done protecting her.” Because ratings of the show have been dismal as of late, the network hopes that footage of Giudice will boost their numbers due to the drama that’s sure to happen at the sentencing, according to the source.

Bravo is reportedly frustrated with the reality TV star for her bad-mouthing, diva behavior and the fact that she has decided to keep a low profile. “They tried to tell Teresa that she was contractually obligated to show but her legal crisis manager, Wendy Feldman, shut that down. Teresa’s contract is actually very loose, and doesn’t clearly dictate what media she must do,” said a source to RadarOnline.

Giudice is one of the more popular members of The Real Housewives of New Jersey and earns up to $250,000 per season.

Teresa only wants the fake stuff filmed…No reality for reality show she is on.

  • Jerry O’Brien

She and Joe signed contracts to be on reality TV, well it doesn’t get more real than this, and that’s too bad. You are past the point of picking and choosing your reality,
you had no problem shopping for furniture with wads of cash, you can’t have problems letting everyone now know where it came from.

    • janet

Amen Jerry! If she didn’t want to be filmed in her real life situation she shouldn’t be getting the big paycheck and she should have stayed off the show. I am tired of her whinning and playing the victim. She did the crime, now she needs to do the time.

      • Jerry O’Brien

You got that right Janet! How dare she scream about her right to
PRIVACY, what PRIVACY? You have none, you signed it away
when you signed up. I hope the Bravo cameras are there for every
        darn second!

  • hmmmm

If you don’t want to film then you should have to give up some of your salary. This after all is your job.

Teresa Guidice played her life out on TV to make fast $$$. Teresa Guidice signed a contract with BRAVO which she knew there was clause to show on TV the sentencing. Do not feel sorry for Teresa or Joe Guideice. Would like to fill sorry for their daughters but the way they been acting on TV no way.

    So what was the deal?

  • KansasGuest

Karma rears its head once again. Don’t make deals with the devil if you aren’t prepared to pay up.

  • Rthimble

Tough to sell the “I don’t know why this is happening to us ” when we all see it happen in court. She has been playing a “victim” long enough , welcome to the real world with consequences !

    • James Hoey

How many seasons ago was she shopping and pulling fistfuls of bills out of her bag, bragging about how she always pays cash ( code for “no paper trail”) ?

      • Rthimble

Absolutely remember that along with her bragging how her house and children should have all the best. Lat week she is saying how she doesn’t mind down sizing , like she has a choice at this point ! Guessing a jail cell is about the size of her big front doors on her McMansion !

  • Terri LaValle

She didn’t mind the cameras being on when she was flaunting her phony lifestyle she maintained with stolen money. So she shouldn’t mind the consequences of her actions being on camera either………….

  • ahhhaaa

That’s what she gets thinking they are “Stars” they are a sorry excuse for parents and even a greater example of how not to be.

  • Steph Walker

They SHOULD DEFINITELY allow the camera’s in the courtroom ! .. It is Reality T V and this is PART of her life ! .. Never mind the fact that she wants it all ” Hidden ” so as to NOT damage her ” Reputation ” .. TOUGH ! Show it all Bravo !!

And besides she isn’t alone ! .. Apparently her sister in law and brother Melissa and Joe are soon to be right there beside her and her husband Joe ..

  • Jay Jeffries

This gorilla faced b*tch and her greasy husband are nothing more than fraudulent grifters. They lied on their home loan applications to obtain exponentially larger mortgages than they could qualify for; they submitted fake W2’s and tax returns to back up their lies. When they filed bankruptcy, they lied to the BK judge by trying to hide assets from the court. This is all documented. Bravo should definitely be there, to see these 2 grifters get the book thrown at them and be sentenced to decades in prison, which they definitely deserve. If nothing else, people need to see these two be accountable for their lies…

  • Colene

Why make this a side show? this is what happens with fraud whether you know
    all the details.

  • Reader22

They signed up to have their lives filmed right? Well…

  • Ben Garcia

“Ensure her privacy” my buns. She wants to keep the entire nation from knowing what a criminal, conniving and crooked sloot she is and that she went along with her evil hubby in all the frauds. Hopefully he will be deported when he gets out of the slam and her “career” will have been derailed.

  • Molly Keefe Nicoletta

I stopped watching the New Jersey Housewives show last year. Could only take so much! I hope both of the Giudice Nitwits go to jail. Their kids will be better off without them.

  • Winston

Have her flip a table or two in the courtroom. Andy Cohen will be happy!

  • Sunshine629

I stopped watching the show. They are the most foul mouthed bunch of people I have ever seen. I have no problem with an occasional swear word but they have dropped more F bombs than any TV show around. Theresa and Joe deserve to go to jail and I do feel sorry for the kids. They certainly haven’t had role models for parents. They give a bad name for the people of New Jersey.

  • storia64

Isn’t this federal court? Don’t think cameras are allowed.

  • Larry

Bravo and Andy Cohen will get their way. Anything but anything for the God Almighty Ratings. They could care less who they destroyed and maimed to achieve their goal.

  • Kylie

Consequences. When they moved into that grss house and Joe flashed that wad of cash I knew the IRS would get them. They think they are so smart. The show really sucks and I would never miss an episode. Oh Theresa, hang out with a Gotti before you’re sentencing. Brilliant
