When word got around that Taylor Swift was dating One Direction’s Harry Styles, most people didn’t take it seriously. Swift has a well-documented history of dating boys for a while and then writing a song about everything that happened in the relationship, so most figured we’d hear about a breakup soon enough.

Now, it seems, we’re getting that news. Multiple sources are reporting that the two are no longer an item even though they spent a romantic holiday together at the end of 2012. Perhaps a clue can be found on Swift’s Twitter page, where she posted a cryptic little note on the 5th.
