Believe it or not, another very important Yahoo exec has decided to leave the company.  Ari Balogh, who serves as Yahoo’s chief technology officer and executive vice president of products, has announced that June 3rd will be his last day.

One could argue that Yahoo’s not good at making friends; its recent interactions with Microsoft and absence from several "most trusted companies" lists (lists that named Google, mind you) represent decent evidence of this.  So now, Yahoo almost appears ready to just pay for pals as one exec expressed an interest in buying "social" firms. 

Yahoo CEO Carol Bartz has announced plans for the reorganization of the company.

In a blog post on Yodel Anecdotal Bartz details the plan. "So today I’m rolling out a new management structure that I believe will make Yahoo! a lot faster on its feet. For us working at Yahoo!, it means everything gets simpler."
