Suppose that, just in order to get an idea of how much money you’re making, you had to look up an ever-changing conversion rate and multiply a pair of numbers on a daily basis.  Well, overseas AdSense publishers have been doing this for some time, but thanks to a new move on Google’s part, the process is getting much simpler.

If you’re a blogger who has been at it for a while, you’ve probably run across other blogs stealing your content at one point or another. These are commonly referred to as scrapers, and will often use your content to post Google AdSense ads and make money off your work.

SnappyFingers is a Question/Answer search engine that has been on the web since last July. It is currently still in beta. I had a chat with Chirayu Patel, the founder of SnappyFingers to find out a little more about it.

Today Google announced AdSense for mobile search, not to be confused with AdSense for mobile content, which the company released back in 2007. AdSense for mobile search is a way for mobile network operators and mobile website owners to embed a Google search box on their mobile portals and web sites.

Suing for $3 billion is an almost insane act.  Combine it with a corporate name that translates to "The Age of Aquarius," and you’ve got something that should cause a judge to hurt himself laughing.  Yet since everything’s taking place in Russia, it seems possible that a new lawsuit will cause problems for Google.

Harvard Business School professor Benjamin Edelman believes Google is profiting from and encouraging typosquatting by placing ads on trademark infringing made-for-AdSense websites. As co-counsel in a class action suit, Edelman suggests Google could be making money from a million domains or more.

Google seems to be embracing the Halloween spirit a little early this year.  Its announcement regarding two new Analytics features might be interpreted as a trick, for example, since they’re in private beta without a release date.  Then, for a treat, there’s not one but four new features that should arrive much sooner.

If you saw the post from the Google Analytics Blog this morning announcing the updated user interface and thought that was all they had up their sleeves—you’re wrong. The UI is just the updated wrapping to go with major upgrades coming to Google Analytics in the coming weeks. (Update: the official announcement.)

It was only a matter of time, but Google is beginning beta testing for in-game advertising, or "AdSense for Games". On Google’s Inside AdSense Blog, Ryan Hayward writes:

It appears that Google has goofed and equated the American dollar with the value of the Indian Rupee when dealing with the AdSense accounts of some users. The correct exchange rate would be $1 US to 46.555 INR.

The Adsense-meets-Feedburner era has officially begun. As mentioned here, the slow "Googlization" of Feedburner has gotten underway, and on Friday, the public got to see some Adsense ads in Feedburner feeds.

A couple months ago some publishers began displaying them, but now they are in full swing.
