Typical hacker pigs, they’re all the same. Just a bunch of self entitled assholes who think just because they can that they should. Anyone and everyone in the hacker group lulzsec is just looking for a way to suck Bill Gates’ dick.

You don’t really get it, do you? Sony all but asked for this. If you can’t wrap your head around why, then you might want to google how Sony has botched things with the PS3 since its launch. I do own one BTW, and while I am a little irritated about my information being compromised, I am far more pissed that Sony put so much effort toward DRM and incrementally nerfing the console (and adding a bunch of blaot I don’t want and cant opt-out of), that they never thought to encrypt my user data.

You want to call the hackers “self-entitled assholes”? Sony earns that moniker much more dutifully than them.

$ony won’t be getting another penny from me. And screw them for making me prefer Microsoft’s offering in the future.

“What does this mean for PlayStation 3 owners? Fully functional capabilities that the were paid for when the console was acquired, but beyond that, what else?”

Other OS? I doubt it. Was the only reason I chose PS3 over the 360. Shrug.

  3. Did they made any announcements as to when we will be getting service restoration? I tried emailing Sony and but until now I haven’t receive any rply from them.

  4. Weew, good grief thanks a lot! We’ve been like waiting for ages here. Though would take some time for other countries, I think prevention is always an option than cure. :-) outsourcing company

  5. We have been conducting additional testing and further security verification of our commerce functions in order to bring the PlayStation Network completely back online so that our fans can again enjoy the first class entertainment experience they have come to love. We appreciate the patience and support shown during this time.

  6. Sony’s PSN servers have been live and storing credit card information for years. That it’s taking *months* for them to make this information secure at this point means that they are only victims of their own negligence.
