Skyrim: Legendary Edition Announced, Dated

By: Sean Patterson - April 25, 2013

Both in and out of video games, it seems that patient gamers are always rewarded. While early adopters can often end up shelling out $60 for a new game and $30 to $60 more for a title’s DLC, those who are willing to wait for the experience can often grab award-winning games at lower prices with all DLC already included.

That’s the case this year for gamer’s who haven’t trekked across the plains of Skyrim. Almost two years after the release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Bethesda has announced that a “Legendary Edition” of the game will launch on June 4 (June 7 in Europe) for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. The game will cost $60.

Skyrim: Legendary Edition will include a version of Skyrim updated to the 1.9 title update and all three of the game’s DLC’s: Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn.

Bethesda announced earlier this month that it has officially stopped development on Skyrim. The team that was still working on the game has been shifted to a new project, which could be The Evil Within, Fallout 4, or some other unannounced Bethesda title.

I love playing any and all of The Elder Scroll’s and when the new Skyrim Legendary Edition come’s out I am thinking about starting properly on the Fallout’s first to end.

However, although I love The Elder Scroll’s and their game’s so much even with the DLC Pack’s going to be installed into the legendary Edition I think around £60 is a little steep.

In my case because I have no where enough money to get the DLC’s and care tough getting everyone come of your Game’s including the Fallout’s, it’s a little worrying how this new Edition will cost so high.

I don’t get me wrong love your Game’s and I have been trying to get your DLC’s for a long time, but just not got the money. I have some money now and enough to get them, but it would hit me financially for the next several month’s at least.
I though that with the new DLC Edition coming out with Skyrim having those three DLC’s installed would help me, but I was expecting it to be around £40 with would only put me financially for a month maybe two without many problem’s, and for those two month’s it would be worth it, but I cannot afford it for more than two or three.

Sorry if it’s a little complaining, I just got really disappointed on the price. I love how it’s coming out though.
