Sheen Offers Role To Angus T. Jones

In the wake of some very controversial statements made by the young star of “Two And A Half Men” recently, Charlie Sheen has graciously extended an offer to come be on his new show, “Anger Management”.

Angus T. Jones, who plays Jake on the popular sitcom, was filmed for a Christian testimonial recently where he talked about his fame and the enormous success of the show, calling it “filth” and urging fans to stop watching it.

“If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching Two and a Half Men,” the actor said. “I’m on Two and a Half Men, and I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it, and filling your head with filth…people say it’s just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch. Jake from Two and a Half Men means nothing.”

Sheen apparently commiserates with Jones and has made it known that the 19-year old has a job if he decides to leave “Two And A Half Men”.

“My former nephew is welcome at the Goodson Anger Management home anytime. It is radically clear to me that the show is cursed,” said Sheen. “I dare anyone to spend ten years in the laugh-track that is Chuck Lorre’s hive of oppression and not suffer some form of an emotional tsunami.”

Though Jones later apologized for his comments and said that his time spent on the show has been some of the best years of his life, it is unclear what will happen to his character when his contract is up next year.

Anger management is going to be around for quite some time. Apparently they’ve been signed up for another 90 episodes.

Good for him!!! About time people need to realize that all of the tv shows are really no different than Two-And A Half Men. It’s almost as if we are watching porn!!! TV stations need to clean up their act!!!

This kid has done nothing in his life *but* act on this show. With his comments about TVs and brains, it’s clear he doesn’t want to act anywhere and, frankly, should probably forfeit all of his earnings from doing so on TAAHM.

Yes, the show is Filth. I cannot see how it’s still on, but there you have it. If he’s able to reason this out, it proves that “Jake’s” stupidity is just an act.

Don’t know if it’s still true, but Angus T. Jones was the highest paid child actor on ANY television network, including Miley Cyrus and Victoria Justice. He made close to half a million dollars per episode.

Gotta love Charlie Sheen. He thinks that Anger Management is different from 2.5 Men with regard to the filth content. Last time I checked, it involves a lot of the same immorality that is depicted on 2.5 Men. Don’t get me wrong, I watch and enjoy both shows from time to time. I think Charlie Sheen is a natural comedic talent, but he is delusional.

What, like the show was wholesome when Sheen was on? This kid watched Sheen completely have a drug/mental break. I don’t think that would be a step up dude.

I never understood the appeal of Two and a Half Men. It’s written for lazy, white, football-loving, Bud-light loving morons who think that they’re clever and important. Angus Jones has every right to express his opinion. I highly doubt that all of the Two and a Half Men worshipers haven’t complained about their jobs. All they seem to do is complain. He shouldn’t have to give the salary he earned back?! I can’t believe people are actually suggesting that on message boards. Perhaps some of those people who also hate their jobs and talk about it should give THEIR salaries back.

Many people have clauses written in their work contracts that forbid them from making disparaging remarks about the companies for whom they work. So, while you may think this spoiled brat has a right to his opinion, it does not extend to openly trashing the series that made him rich. I thought the show was hilarious when Charlie Sheen was on it. No one’s forcing anyone to watch the show, but there is that saying about biting the hand that feeds you.

It makes you wonder where this kid’s layers, agent were. The fact that he just spouted this off certainly suggests a lack of impulse control.

People are starving to death in the world and a no talent kid gets paid an outrageous amount for doing what??? He should go to work someplace for minimum wage. I watched the show one time and couldn’t believe that people really look at it regularly. SAD,SAD.

Charlie is just taking another swipe at his 2-1/2 men producers. As usual, he shoots his mouth off without a thought to (or understanding of) the consequences, but I suppose he can afford that. I’m hoping he gets sued for wrongful interference with contract but in any event he has put his former co-star into a more treacherous hole than that he had dug for himself. That is not a friend talking; that is Charlie “ego” Sheen. How did this little man spring from Martin?

I never liked the Charlie character. He was always harrassing Alan. If anyone acted like that in real life it wouldn’t be funny. It was sadistic, and not endearing in the slightest.

Alan has always been the heart of the show.

Sadly, I think Angus will go the route of so many child stars. He’s gotten older, less funny and certainly not cute anymore, and likely won’t get further acting jobs after Men ends. In a few short years, people will be saying “Wonder whatever happened to that kid who was on Two & A Half Men?”.. Once the cute factor wears off, he’s just another young dude spouting off his mouth.

True. Even Fred Savage, who was likeable, never really did much after The Wonder Years, at least on screen. I think he’s mainly producing now.

His rant makes it clear Angus is still the “half”-man child … if he was so unhappy, he should have gone to producers and requested release from his extremely lucrative contract … or requested that Jake be written out by joining a seminary [instead of army] to get away from show while making statement … I’m sure Jake in seminary would have been a goldmine for writers and they’d save a bundle on salary … or, even better, Chuck, have the kid join a cult that promotes a chastity and ship him off to Canada and he could call in when he is allowed his one phone per month, quarter, whatever… worked for Chrissy Snow!

do not blame the kid, blame religion. Once again religion sucker punches another good person. When religion takes over your mind and becomes so radical to where you are unable to live your own life, you do this stuff,,,, oh, you also fly planes into buildings. I am not against religion, I am against it controlling your life rather then what it was designed to do, assist your life.

I saw this coming. Poetic justice for Charlie to recruit a fellow cast mate away from Lorre. The war continues. Angus is an ungrateful brat for hanging the show that made him incredibly rich and famous out to dry. He is back peddling now because of the negative toll it will take on his life and career. They will fire him at the end of the season if the pathetic ASSton version of the show is allowed to continue.

The show doesn’t suck – it simply does not have Charlie on it any longer. Both shows are entertaining. And if Angus is torn between his religion and his career, he should move on. It’s not like Angus’ part is all that big anymore.

2HM has declined without Sheen, there’s no doubt. But that doesn’t make him any less of an ass-hat. It’s always the seriously unstable, drug-addled narcisistic morons that see everyone else as the problem. Who knows, but I’d bet that Chuck Lorre is simply someone who was straight up with Sheen while everyone else walked on eggshells. Is there anyone out there that thinks being around Sheen would be easy?

After watching 2 1/2 the other night I tend to agree even more with Angus. The show is bad but the segment I saw has Angus’s character, Jake, proudly informing his TV father he has “the clap.” Angus is right — the show had become filth. It is lost without Charlie. Lorre is taking the cheap and lazy way out and going to the vulger sex stuff. He also is starting to do this on The Big Bang Theory. That show was super but now there is a lot of stupid sex and out right vulger stuff going on that those characters (particularly Sheldon) would never think of doing before.

Angus you might give some serious thought to what Charlie is proposing. Charlie has a few personal issues and problems but he is a brilliant actor and he is highly intelligent. He is very intuitive about show business.

I agree with Angus T. Jones the first time.Too bad he backed down in his stand that he made. Unfortunately now he just looks wishy washy. As a born again Christian which I have been over twenty years you have to make stands and stick to them even when everyone else is against it for it is the righteous thing to do. God gives him grace as he is a new convert. As for the shows nowadays too many are saturated with sexual induendo and it will have an effect on a person after awhile.
