Sarah Palin's husband, Todd Palin, was seriously injured in a snowmobile crash in Alaska this weekend, prompting the former governor to leave Florida, where she was stumping for Donald Trump, and hurry home.

Todd Palin sustained serious injuries to his collarbone and his lungs in what his father, Jim Palin, called "one of those freak accidents."

Sarah Palin cancelled one of her appearances at a Donald Trump rally, scheduled in Tampa, Florida, but made a few remarks at another. While there, she thanked the audience for praying for Todd Palin. She then explained he was recovering, but in ICU.

Ted Cruz took to Twitter to say he and his family were praying for Sarah and Todd Palin.

It will be interesting to see, once Todd Palin is well on his road to recovery, if Sarah Palin heads back out on the road to campaign for Donald Trump again.
