Russell Crowe may be in celebrity news lately because of his role in the award-winning “Les Miserables”, but he’s also getting attention for a rumored relationship that’s taking some by surprise. It all began with some retweets, and has escalated to a sensual “couples massage” at the Four Seasons Hotel last month. The lady in question? Marilyn Manson’s ex, burlesque beauty Dita Von Teese.

The two are rumored to have shared a romantic rub-down in December, and the media is jumping on it after Crowe retweeted several of the lovely dancer’s posts on Twitter: “Dressage. Was measured for bespoke blk patent boots w/my name stamped on the heel . . . But under whose bed did I leave my Hermes riding crop?” and “Giving airport security a lesson in garter belts this morning.”

One can’t help but remember Crowe’s “L.A. Confidential” character Bud White in this situation, since Von Teese is such a glamorous throwback to the era of old Hollywood and shimmering gowns. However, he hasn’t commented on the alleged hookup and recently tweeted about hanging out with his sons after saying his priority was getting his family back together. He and wife Danielle Spencer recently separated.
