In the latest trailer for New Line’s musical “Rock of Ages” Tom Cruise takes center stage as Stacee Jaxx, lead singer of the band Arsenal. The new extended trailer gives us our first glimpse of Russell Brand, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Malin Akerman, Mary J. Blige, Julianne Hough, Diego Boneta, and Alec Baldwin.

The film seems to be a decent concoction of Mamma Mia / Hairspray mixed with music from the 1980s. If that’s your thing, not sure how you could go wrong with this film.

“Rock of Ages” is slated to hit theaters on June 15th. Check out the trailer below followed by the official synopsis of the film:

“Small town girl Sherrie and city boy Drew meet on the Sunset Strip while pursuing their Hollywood dreams.
