Powerball Jackpot Is Now At $253 Million

The Powerball Jackpot is currently sitting at $253 Million, with the next drawing scheduled for Saturday night. The drawings, of course, occur each Wednesday and Saturday.

Wednesday’s winning numbers were 3,7,11,15,28, Powerball:12. There were no jackpot winners.

There was a $2 million prize winner in Florida for the Match 5 Power Play. For the $1 million Match 5 prize, there were winners in Connecticut, Washington D.C., Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma and Oregon.

There were a total of 1,175,151 winners on Wednesday, winning $32,919,815 in non-jackpot prizes. Odds of winning the jackpot, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association, are 1 in 1 in 175,223,510.

Typically, people are talking about the jackpot on Twitter, contemplating how to spend the money, should they be lucky enough to hit the winning numbers. Most of what we’re seeing right now is people complaining that they didn’t win. Still, there’s hope for the next drawing. Here’s a sample of some of the latest chatter:
