  1. I can believe this. Countless times I have walked into a store to find the item I saw on the web, and in some cases I double check with the sales agent to make sure it is indeed the product I saw on the web.

    I don’t use mobile web, but if I did I would most certainly price check from the web to the store.

  3. I am coming out with a line of retail products. They are packaged in clear CD cases so there is limited real estate to provide information on the product. Thus I am using a short URL that I own on the packaging and on the counter display to take mobile users to more information formatted for them, plus give them the chance to watch videos about the product.

    One thing I have added to the display is a QR code. These are all the rage in Asia and are in us in the US and Europe. I am a bit surprised that the author here apparently knows nothing about QR codes. All smart phones have applications available.
