MC Hammer: AMAs Revive Old Hit Thanks To PSY

The star-studded American Music Awards are always a feast for the eyes and ears, with all the hottest young performers grabbing up awards and hitting the stage to delight their fans. But this year’s show had something else going for it: a mashup which was tailor-made for both young and not-so-young crowds.

If you’re old enough to remember MC Hammer’s “2 Legit 2 Quit”–and the dance that went along with it–then you’ll appreciate the video of him teaming up with PSY, the Korean pop sensation who crossed over to American charts this year with “Gangnam Style” and made thousands of people learn that silly horse dance.

We should have known something was up when PSY came out in those insanely baggy pants.

Watching the AMA’s at home I went wild when Hammer came on, what a “super surprise”…I saw Hammer in D.C. and it was like one dance marathon and house party….he still can rock it…there’s a few who can dance at his feverish pace, Psy is one of them…..Thanks AMA for such a rockin finale!
