Lifetime had what was probably one of its most anticipated movie premieres ever last night, and Twitter users were keeping a running play-by-play as the turbulent story of Liz Taylor and her true love spun out.
Whether it was the novelty of seeing someone as young–and with such a wild history–playing film icon Elizabeth Taylor, or the sheer volume of expectations regarding Lohan’s acting/aging process which drew in audiences is unknown. One thing for sure is that most of those who tuned in are calling it a “train wreck” today and it has been lambasted on just about every news and entertainment site there is.
