Kate Winslet is now married to Ned RocknRoll--the nephew of Virgin mogul Richard Branson--and she says she's "incredibly excited" to start a new chapter in her life.
The 37-year old has been married twice before and has two children. With this marriage, like the others, she was highly secretive when taking her vows and only a handful of friends and family were invited. Even their own parents didn't know too far in advance about the big day.
"It's not something I know of - but nothing would surprise me with those two," Ned's father, Robert, said.
Although the nuptials may seem like a spur-of-the-moment thing to some, friends insist the couple have been planning to get married for some time and simply chose to be as private as possible about it. The celebration was attended only by a few of the couple's closest friends and family members; Kate was given away by bestie and "Titanic" co-star Leonardo DiCaprio.
Winslet has had many ups and downs in her love life over the years and says she's thrilled to have found someone who makes her truly happy. In 2010, after her split from director Sam Mendes, she told Harper's Bazaar:
'I've had to remind myself to have those moments of being able to have a f***ing good cry, but it did take someone putting their hand on me – a gay male friend, actually, who put his hand on my shoulder and said: "It's OK, you can cry about this, and maybe you should."'
