Kat Von D and on-again off-again boyfriend Deadmau5 are engaged to be married after the famous DJ proposed on Twitter.

The couple have endured a rocky couple of months, breaking up at least once (which was also announced via Twitter) before ironing things out to the point that they decided they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. The tattoo artist recently split from bike enthusiast–and ex-husband of Sandra Bullock–Jesse James after a brief engagement. Since she and Deadmau5 have only been together a short time–they were first seen in public together in September–it’s been speculated upon that things got too serious too quickly, and that’s what led to the breakup.

Whatever the reason, it looks like the pair will be planning their nuptials soon. They both tweeted about the news, thanking friends and fans for the well-wishes.
