Julia Stiles and Matt Damon are reportedly both in for the filming of the next in the series of the Bourne spy franchise films. Tentatively called Bourne 5, Nicky Parsons and Jason Bourne are back with these actor's reprisals.
Alongside Matt Damon, Julia Stiles starred in The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, and The Bourne Ultimatum. Neither appeared in The Bourne Legacy. Paul Greengrass, who directed both Supremacy and Ultimatum, is coming back to direct Bourne 5.
Julia Stiles’ portrayal of Nicky Parsons serves as one of the major links connecting the original three Bourne movies. It makes perfect sense for her to continue playing a role in this next chapter. Nicky has deep knowledge of Jason Bourne’s psychological issues, and this knowledge would likely come into play during the Bourne 5 narrative--as featured in the script that Greengrass and Damon have written alongside Paul Greengrass’s longtime editor, Christopher Rouse.
