Jodie Foster has several directing credits to her name--including "The Beaver" and "Little Man Tate"--and now she's looking to add another.
Foster will helm "Money Monster", a financial drama centered on a fast-talking television personality with ties to Wall Street named Lee Gates. When a bad financial tip causes a viewer to lose all his money, he takes Gates hostage on-air, creating a tense situation which is broadcasted live.
The news of Foster's role behind the camera comes with mixed reviews, as some aren't sure how she'll do with such a tense script.
Is Jodie Foster's next directorial venture based on CNBC's Mad Money??? http://t.co/0kSgLk89
