Jessa Seewald (nee Duggar) is good at finding that silver lining. In the midst of the latest Josh Duggar sex scandal, the former 19 Kids and Counting star is sharing some joy with her followers.

The joy comes in the form of her nephew--sister Jill Duggar Dillard's baby boy Israel. The Dillard family is in Central America as Jill and Derick Dillard--along with Joy Duggar--are serving as missionaries there.

Jessa Duggar Seewald shared a smiling photo of baby Israel on her Instagram page this week, and--beware--the joy is contagious.

"My adorable little nephew! #Izzy #IsraelDavidDillard," Jessa captioned the photo.

Earlier this week, Jessa Seewald made it abundantly clear that she isn't supporting brother Josh Duggar during this most recent sex scandal. Josh was outed for having two Ashley Madison accounts during the recent hacking of the cheater's website. He admitted--only after being caught--that he has an addiction to pornography and also admitted to having cheated on his wife, Anna Duggar. Anna was several months pregnant one of the last times Josh cheated on her.

Jessa Duggar Seewald supported Josh during his last sex scandal. She was one of his five victims of sexual molestation when Josh was a teen. She and sister Jill Duggar Dillard were interviewed on TV by Fox's Megyn Kelly, where both said they forgave their brother and didn't want others to call him a child molester.

Jessa Seewald has changed her tune this time around.

Earlier this week her father-in-law, Michael Seewald, posted a scathing blog post that condemned Josh Duggar's sexual sins, but even more so his claims of being a forgiven Christian in light of his previous sex scandal.

The following is an excerpt of that post.

It distresses me to say that Josh Duggar’s greatest sin is a byproduct of the sum total of his secretly sinful lifestyle. That is, that by his hypocrisy, he blasphemed the name of God. He claimed to be a Christian, but by his deeds he has suggested otherwise. With the name of God on his lips he lived a covert and extensive lifestyle of evil. While proudly saying things like, “Our family is like the epitome of conservative values”, he was looking at porn and soliciting affairs. He took a job at the Family Research Council that exists to promote the traditional family, all the while undermining his own family by violating his marriage covenant. He flourished in the fame of his family and the success of their television show, all the while betraying their trust and Christian values. The thing that is so hurtful is that he was a loud voice endorsing Christian ethics and he has been shown to be a fraud. I am profoundly grieved that he attained such a platform only to bring shame on God’s holy name and the Christian faith. After hearing of Josh’s scandal when he was a teenager, I publicly stated that Josh appeared to be a changed man, was walking above reproach, and living out the faith that he professed. I stood in solidarity, encouraging him to use the scandal to build humility and grace. Sadly, he had deceived us all. The name of God has been blasphemed and God is jealous for his name.

So how does Jessa Seewald fit in to all of this? She promoted the post widely via social media.

Jessa shared a similar post on her Facebook page. She is clearly indicated her great disdain for her brother's actions. Jessa Seewald definitely isn't supporting Josh Duggar this time around.

And speaking of Josh Duggar--does anyone really know where he is? He supposedly checked into a rehab facility last week, but sources at Reformers Unanimous say no one has seen him there.

The 19 Kids and Counting family are pretty much living in seclusion, with the exception of Jessa Duggar Seewald. She is unabashedly bashing her brother and trying hard to move forward with her life.

Ben and Jessa Seewald are expecting their first baby on November 1st. Israel Dillard will have a new little cousin then, and Jessa Duggar Seewald will have even more reasons to smile.
