How I Met Your Mother Birth: It’s Upon Us!

For those “How I Met Your Mother” fans, tonight is a big night; it marks the first episode of two for the season finale, where viewers will finally get to see Lily give birth. And, according to some leaked photos from the set, it looks like the ultimate ladies’ man Barney is getting married. But since the show has managed to keep fans guessing for quite a while now, they could have some tricks up their sleeve.

Devoted fans have been speculating for a while now about who Barney–played by Neil Patrick Harris–will choose for his bride, and most have it narrowed down to either Quinn or Robin. One fan gave his thoughts about Quinn on a comment thread:

“Quinn is a really bland character, her only characteristic is “she’s a stripper.” I really can’t see her being Barney’s bride. She’s a complete red herring and a boring one. I like Barney and Robin as a couple because it actually is an interesting dynamic couple so I can’t help but hope Robin is his bride. But if not I wouldn’t mind if Nora was the bride, though that’s completely unlikely since her character is out for good. Knowing how HIMYM is I bet Lily and Marshall will have a girl instead of a boy because they love messing with expectations.”

The two-part finale may well see a huge surge in viewers, especially if these tweets are any indication.
