WLIIA fans, rejoice! The CW has just unveiled the first promo clip for the new season of the classic improv show, which is slated to kick off this summer.

The CW revival of the series, which started in the late 90’s and ran for 8 seasons on ABC, brings back Ryan Stiles, Wayne Brady, and Colin Mochrie – but has replaced the host. In the new version comedian Aisha Tyler is filling in for Drew Carey. The new series will feature a “special guest” for each episode, and will consist of ten 30-minute shows.

Impressions? Well, Colin and Ryan look a bit older, but other than that the performers don’t seem to have lost a step – even when they’re being forced to use 90210 as source material. And Laura Hall is back!

I love this show and have really missed it. I want to know how I can get to a taping. I was at a taping of the original show and I have never laughed so hard in my life.

You sound cute. Can I go to a taping with you?

Just be happy that it’s back. Good God, everytime the show is revived there’s always such downer posts and someone always has to bitch…”It’s not like the original.
Of course not…things change, people age, but what doesn’t change is the comedy. I’m just glad it’s back and I love the new look. And so what if Drew Carey isn’t there. The show got along great with Clive Anderson. Don’t be so quick to judge and just enjoy it already and quit ruining for the rest of us.
Loved the clip by the way.
