Chrome Now Makes It Easy To Find The Noisy Tab

By: Jeremy Muncy - November 12, 2013

Have you ever drove yourself nuts clicking through all of your open tabs trying to find where that sound, music or audio was coming from? With that in mind, Chrome has just released an updated Chrome Beta that visually shows you where that pesky sound is coming from. Chrome will also be able to show you which tabs are currently using your webcam or being cast to your TV.

Something else that you’ll see in the Chrome Beta is the browser automatically blocking malware files, this takes the current action of a simple warning to a whole new level. When this happens, you’ll see a message in your download tray “This file is malicious, and Chrome has blocked it.”

Another update is the ability to manage multiple Chrome windows and quickly get to your favorite Chrome Apps with an integrated app launcher.

You can download the Chrome Beta here.
