“Fifty Shades Of Blue” Video Spoof With Selena Gomez

By: Amanda Crum - May 23, 2012

“Fifty Shades Of Blue”, a new Funny or Die skit by Disney-channel princess Selena Gomez and “The League” actor Nick Kroll, spoofs the book “Fifty Shades of Grey” and shows a whole new side to Bieber’s special lady.

The book tells the story of a young woman who falls for a wealthy, older man and documents their sexual journey; it was a hit after its release last year and is said to have origins in “Twilight” fan fiction.

The video, however, tells the story of a young woman entranced with a ridiculously disgusting man who picks his belly-button lint in front of her and hacks up mucus in the middle of conversations. As their encounter goes on, the girl only narrates the story and never speaks, lending it another dimension of humor when Kroll comments on her creepiness.

Read the books, then saw this. A thousand ways to make this funnier. It didn’t have anything really to do with the books except the inner monologue.

I thought this was hilarious! I love when he says, “take a picture it will last longer”, and she does. The picture is so funny of him coughing!
