Famous Hands Artwork Waves At The Masses

By: Richard Stalker - May 11, 2012

When art can express something without a lot of visuals or work, kind of like a minimalist style, I become completely enthralled. Rocco Malatestam, A freelance graphic designer and illustrator based in Berlin, Germany, has created a series of paintings featuring famous hands from Sports, History, and Movies.

From Spock giving a “Live long and prosper,” to Lance Armstrong holding up seven fingers signifying his “Tour de France” victories. I especially like the the Rocky one. The American flag gloves really stand out against the black background.

Every print that you see here can be purchased. The large prints are going to cost you about $114 to ship it to the United States. That dollar amount includes shipping. Not a bad deal for a powerful image. He also has a ton of other paintings to check out.
