January is the month that we make resolutions and leave last year and the bad choices we made in the past. For many people, this means finally getting weight problems under control. The best way to do this is with a healthy diet and exercise. Owning your own exercise equipment can make working out a lot easier and make you more likely to do it. If you are thinking about buying your own exercise equipment, now is the time.

Treadmills are one of the most popular pieces of home exercise equipment. They are easy to use, easy to store and fairly inexpensive. The price of the treadmill can depend on the features it includes. While some features are for convenience and not necessarily worth the extra money, other features like programmable workouts, will make your workout more affective and even motivate you to try harder.

Stores offer some of their best treadmill prices in January because they know shoppers are serious about getting fit and willing to make a purchase. They also want to get last year's models out of the store so they can stock up with summer sporting goods and newer treadmill models.
