Today I spoke about some issues very close to my heart during my #HeForShe speech for UN Women at The London School of Economics. It was my first time speaking in public that way and I hope that, despite my nerves, my message was clear. Engaging men EVERYWHERE is vital to help end gender-based atrocities in areas of conflict - and also to ensure equality for everyone; wherever they land on the gender spectrum. *Video of my speech going up on my Twitter & Facebook tomorrow*
Emma Watson recently made headlines for speaking up about sexism in Hollywood. She also talked about how men can be feminists and how women are "just as guilty of discriminating against women."
Watson has also worked with the UN on the issue of gender equality.
