  • Elsa Pataky is a Spanish actress, renown for her acting on Spanish television as well as a growing international career. A very talented woman, she can speak five different languages and has been features in numerous films and television programs. She is also the wife of Chris Hemsworth, the Australian actor perhaps best known for his smash hit role as Thor in the recent Marvel films, including “Thor,” “The Avengers,” and “Thor 2.” The two met through their management company, ROAR, and were married on the 26th of December in 2010. They have one child, a daughter named India Rose, and are now expecting another addition to their happy little family.

That’s right! The lovely blonde couple is expecting a second child, as confirmed by Hemsworth’s representatives. Back in May, he expressed his excitement about fatherhood, telling E! news that, “I’ve wanted to have kids for a long time, and here it is, and I couldn’t be happier… It’s amazing, it’s really, really exciting … it’s tough being here and not back with her.” According to a Spanish magazine, Elsa is about three months along, and is in a stable condition.

Elsa seems just as excited about extending her family. As quoted on her IMDB page, on the topic of building a family with her husband, Elsa was quoted as saying, “Having the person that you love by your side and starting a family with them is the best thing that can happen to you in this life. You can’t ask for more.” The baby is expected to arrive sometime in either May or June of 2014. The gender of the child has yet to be confirmed, but regardless, little India will have a new playmate to look forward to in a few months!
