  • Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson may be uncomfortable as all get-out in “Yuppieville”, but Sadie Robertson doesn’t appear to have any trouble with it.

The 17-year-old daughter of Willie and Korie Robertson is confirmed to be a contender for a slot on the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars.

Us Weekly reports that Sadie will be joining the already-announced lineup of Janel Parrish, Lolo Jones, and Antonio Sabato Jr. The full official lineup for Season 19 of Dancing With the Stars will be announced on Good Morning America on Thursday, September 4.

What we do already know is that the pros that will be paired with these competitors are: Mark Ballas, Cheryl Burke, Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Derek Hough, Tony Dovolani, Peta Murgatroyd, and Karina Smirnoff.

Way back in May, Sadie’s mom Korie told Us Magazine that her daughter had always wanted to be on DWTS.

“I think that our kids are really natural in front of the camera and they have fun with it. Sadie I think wants to maybe be on a talk show and she wants to be on Dancing With the Stars!”

Well, be careful what you wish for.

Maybe Sadie can help the bit of a slump that Duck Dynasty finds itself in after Phil’s comments about gays spun the reality show into a dive. The show doesn’t seem to be in any danger of being cancelled. It might not be making as much as it used to, but it is still king of the reality TV lineup.

Recently, Phil and Alan Robertson signed on to help raise funds for a ministry aimed at bringing Jews to Jesus. Maybe he can swing some dancers to the Lord.
