Howard Stern got an interesting phone call from David Arquette during his Sirius XM radio show on Wednesday, October 30. It seems as though Arquette is drunk calling again.

Arquette started the conversation by giving Stern a heads up saying, “I’m wasted”. “I threw a wrap party for this film I’m working on called ‘The Key,” he continued. “This isn’t the first time I called you drunk, I’ve called in a few times.”

He then went on to tell Stern just how much he liked him, comparing him to God. “You are incredible,” Arquette said. “You are God. We’re all gods in our own way. We’re all droplets of God…The whole game is to entertain God. God created us all.”

When asked about his ex-wife, Courtney Cox, surprisingly he didn’t have any negative comments.

“She’s the most brilliant, beautiful friend that I’ve ever met,” he said. “She’s with someone who loves and cares for her. That’s all I care about.”

He also rambled on about other random topics including Adolf Hitler, Grand Theft Auto, and the N word. He then made sure to apologize for his current state and if he had offended anyone. “I’m sorry, and I apologize to anyone I’m going to offend. And I’m wasted and I’ll get sober tomorrow,” he said.

WHOA WHOA WHOA…STOP THE CLOCK! All you Howard Stern haters have obviously NEVER listened to a minute of his shows. Howard Stern is one of greatest and most influential broadcasters ever on the radio. His show is LIVE. He can’t choose what to “air” (as you idiots put it). David is one of his dear dear friends, and has always been welcome on the show without prior scheduling…both in person and over the phone. Howard’s show was David’s best outlet to communicate the truth about his divorce when the tabloids were printing false statements. (go on youtube and listen to all the old shows with David Arquette). Google David Arquette’s weddding and you’ll find pages of quotes from Stern’s interviews in all the mainstream media coverage.

Howard Stern is one of the greatest interviewers of all time…hands down. You can listen to a scripted 3-minute celebrity puff-piece interview on Jay Leno, but I’d much rather listen to a 90-minute indepth, honest, unscripted, and uncensored interview on The Stern show. Howard just had Sir Paul McCartney on his should a couple weeks ago…do you REALLY THINK he needs extra ratings from an impromptu call in by David Arquette? He let David on because he is David’s close friend.
