Britney Spears: Is Christina Aguilera Making Her Nervous?

Britney Spears is set to judge the talent show “The X Factor” this fall, but if her behavior of late is any indication, she seems to be a nervous wreck. Could it be because she’ll be going up against her old rival Christina Aguilera?

Spears has made some headway in the past couple of years in her fight towards a comeback; after a much-maligned MTV performance following her breakdown–which had critics calling her fat and drugged–she managed to get in shape and put out a new album that garnered good reviews. However, now that she’s in the spotlight again, she seems to be a bundle of nerves. Those on the set of a shoot for her new perfume–Elizabeth Arden Fantasy Twist–say she was constantly smoking in between takes and appeared “out of it” and “robotic”.

As the date draws nearer for Britney to sit at the judge’s table on “The X Factor”, it’s possible she’s getting antsy about being in such a high-profile gig, and it probably isn’t helping that her old rival, Christina Aguilera, is judging on a similar show opposite her. Aguilera has been on “The Voice” for a while now, so she’s an old pro; it could be that Britney feels like she jumped into a job she’s not entirely ready for.

Aguilera had some kind words for her old Mickey Mouse Club buddy, however:

“I came up with Britney, we were very close,” Aguilera said. “Our paths have always crossed. They’ll continue to cross. I welcome her to this family of fun and entertainment and finding new talent. Britney’s a pro. She’s going to give great advice.”

The new season of “The X Factor” starts September 12th on Fox.

LOL what? Britney never cares others.. She knows what she is doing.. They always had obsessions about Britney but Britney never gives a damn about others..

How would you like it if you were under the spot light all the time?!?! They are people just like everyone else. They are living life and making mistakes and learning from them( isn’t that part of growing up?!)! Stop judging!! No one is perfect!

Britney and Christina will do great! They are both beautiful, hard working, and kind hearted!

lol christina is smart and she’s comfortable in her own skin, she’s nominated for 5 emmy’s for the voice, she can sing and act and dance she’s the completely package while for s***ney idk why she even joined the x-factor is a cheap flop show… x-factor’s ratings are lower than idol.. ouch… hopefully demi can help increase the ratings too lol.

First off, she has had TWO (not one, please fact check before posting) wildly successful albums since her troubles in the mid-late 2000′s. She is STILL, after 13 years, a very relative, sought after, and hardworking celebrity. To thrive and continuously sell out concerts, albums, events, and anything else she puts her name on gives her more than enough credibility to judge a talent show aimed at finding the next IT singer/group/act.

People want to think of her as this broken victim of public life, she isn’t. She however is wiser, more mature, and knows what is important in her life: her family and her job.

Lay off it already.

    Amen! Britney is such a kindhearted person and she gets treated really sloppy, but Christina is a super nasty b**** and everyone wants to climb in her s***ty ass! I guess it’s that poor self esteem belief that kindness is weakness and b****es are better, huh? Christina has NOTHING(including character) over Britney.

I can deffinatly see Chistina Aguilera as a judge, she’s smart, sassy, speaks from her heart, gives great advice, has intellegent things to say and is knowlegable about music.

Britney spaears?????

Britney is a nervous wrek,jumbing on the bandwagon of Chistina’s two year success on the voice would make you dam nervous.

she has no busness judging a singing competition, or any competition,
should’nt she be in a hospital somewhere getting some must needed rest. this trick is crazier that cat s***, she needs to go away!!!!
