Battlefield 3 Announces Double XP Weekend On Facebook

Battlefield 3 has given us many joys in our life in the 6 months since its launch. From C4 to flying tanks, to the most awesome jet play in a videogame in a long time. Well now we are getting the one thing that DICE has yet to give us, a double XP weekend!

They announced it on Facebook at 3pm EST. The event will start on the 12th of May and go until the 13th. @Battlefield on Twitter is confirming that the Double XP wekend will start at 12:01am PST tonight!

The Double Xp event will cover all 3 platforms(PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360), and “All ranked game activity applies.”

For a little fun, how about the new episode of the extremely funny Battlefield Friends. his new one is all about trying to get a noob player who is the driver of the vehicle to go to an objective. I love this because it is exactly what it is like to play this game. Trust me when I say that you need to prepare yourself for the complete onslaught of noobs that are going to come out for this double XP weekend.
