Angie Everhart was married at the beach over the weekend.

The former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and actress married Carl Ferro, president and co-founder of meal delivery service Sunfare, during a sunset ceremony on Saturday evening, her rep confirmed to People.

The nuptials were a family affair. The 45-year-old actress was accompanied down the aisle by her 5-year-old son Kayden and Ferro's daughter JoAnn served as flower girl. While model Sandra Taylor stood by her friend as a bridesmaid, the coupled exchanged vows they wrote themselves.

The nuptials were caught on camera for David Tutera's CELEBrations, which will air on WE TV in early 2015.

According to Us Weekly, the bride wore a strapless lace dress with a tulle skirt. The area on the beach where the ceremony took place was decked out with a white aisle, gold chairs, along with several big floral arrangements with white roses.

Everhart, who announced in May that she is suffering from thyroid cancer, shared her happy news via Twitter on Friday.

The couple had been dating for exactly two years when Ferro proposed. He decided to pop the question on their two-year anniversary in April in the same elevator in Hollywood's Redbury Hotel where they shared their first kiss.
