For those of us who grew up in the '80s, Alyssa Milano was one of the top "It" girls. Boys wanted to date her, girls wanted to be her. She had a hit television show, a sweet action movie with Schwarzenegger, and her face was on every teen magazine to hit the shelves. Plus, she always had the most rad shoes.
Moving from child-acting into an adult career can be daunting for some, but Milano seemed to make the transition seamlessly. With steady roles throughout the late '80s and early '90s, she stayed on track until landing the "Charmed" gig, which proved to be a hit with the "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" crowd. Now, at age 40, she looks as good as she ever did and is a busy working mom.
With her birthday coming up this week, Milano's husband of three years, David Bugliari, decided to throw her a prom-themed surprise party in West Hollywood. The event was a hit and played off the teenage rite of passage that Milano never got to experience.
