Gisele Bundchen wanted to end her catwalk career where it all began, and that’s just what happened on Wednesday in Brazil during Sao Paulo Fashion Week.
Gisele Bundchen ended her last fashion show in the same way her career in modeling began, and as the world’s highest earning supermodel.
According to Forbes, Gisele Bundchen earned a total of $47 million in her contracts with Chanel, Carolina Herrera, Pantene, and others, as well as from her flip flop and lingerie lines.
Gisele Bundchen even reportedly outearned her hubby, NFL star Tom Brady.

Gisele Bundchen started out at 14 during Sau Paulo Fashion week modeling for local label Zoomp.
Gisele Bundchen quickly leaped into major labels, modeling for Alexander Wang, Balenciaga, Carolina Herrera, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Versace and, of course, Victoria’s Secret as one of their famed “angels”.
As soon as she rose to fame, interest in Gisele Bundchen’s love life rose with her.
Since becoming a household name, Gisele Bundchen was linked to lots of A-listers from surfer Kelly Slater to Leonardo DiCaprio.
However, Gisele Bundchen found love with Tom Brady and they were married in 2009. Now they have two children and Gisele is ready to give up a portion of her career in order to be with them.
Gisele Bundchen is going out on top, like so few have the privilege of doing.
“It’s marvelous she’s leaving the runway at a moment when she’s at the height of her powers. It’s an intelligent decision,” said Dilson Stein, the talent scout who discovered Gisele Bundchen in 1994.
