Google’s Gboard keyboard is coming to Android tablets after it first appeared on foldable phones.

Split keyboards are a useful option for devices with larger form factors, making it easier to thumb type on the bigger screens. First spotted by 9to5Google, Google appears to be testing the split keyboard version of Gboard on tablets.

Gboard is already one of the best Android keyboards available, and offering the split keyboard feature on tablets will only increase its value.
