Yahoo Reportedly About To Acquire Snip.it

Liz Gannes at All Things D is reporting that Yahoo is expected to announce the acquisition of Snip.it this week, based on information from sources familiar with the matter. According to the report, the price would be in the “mid teens” of millions of dollars.

The news supports a previous report from Kara Swisher (also of All Things D) that Yahoo is really going to be pushing the content side of its business.

Snip.it is yet another site with a Pinteresty design, but focuses more on content than images. Here’s a look:
