WATCH: Facebook’s “Awesome” Announcement LIVE

Today Facebook will make an “awesome” announcement at 10 a.m. PST (1 p.m. EST). It’s rumored to be a more in depth partnership with Skype, which will integrate video chat directly into Facebook.

We first heard rumblings of a Skype-powered video chat last year, but nothing ever came to fruition. But, with the release of Google+, and Hangouts (video chat feature), Facebook needed to add comparable service to keep up with the Jones’.
