Or, if I’m writing from my perspective, “Jessica Is Back!!!!” That’s right, HBO’s smash hit, True Blood starts its fourth season tonight on HBO, and it’s safe to say anticipation is running over. It was on Friday, when people still had two more days of waiting, and now, only hours away from the premiere, it’s safe to say people are starving for the return of True Blood. The following Twitter hash tag, and its popularity, reveals as much:

#tbwithdrawal

WebProNews readers were recently treated to a social media breakdown of the True Blood phenomenon, which is thriving, and through these outlets, it’s clear people want their non-sparkling vampires who, you know, actually drink blood and seduce others? Or, as Neko Case calls it, vampire-sex TV.

@Eric_WVGG Yeah, you gotta camp it up for vampire-sex TV! Love it! 12 minutes ago via Twitter for iPhone · powered by @socialditto

Case is referring to a song she and Nick Cave did for tonight’s Season Four premiere, which can be heard at the blog for KCRW, a radio station in Santa Monica. Speaking of True Blood songs, maybe this can tide you over until tonight:

Early buzz about the premiere has been positive, as people are clearly clamoring for some adult-themed situations, something True Blood willingly provides as modern motion pictures shy away from that kind of entertainment more and more. Thank goodness HBO realizes it’s OK to make entertainment for mature audiences, as well. As for the early buzz, ABC News weighs in:

XfinityTV.com’s West Coast editor Craig Tomashoff, who has seen the premiere, promises fans they won’t be disappointed. “It will definitely be the thing people are talking about,” Tomashoff told ABCNews.com. “It will be the buzzed-about show of the summer.”

In case you can’t wait a few more hours, HBO may still have those eight minutes of footage from the premiere available. Speaking of can’t wait, that certainly was the mood of the Twitter crowd leading up to tonight’s premiere:

Social media is here to stay for good. Given vast variety of the existing channels to choose and stick with, it’s time for such a hot space to enter into a new category.

Here is my 2cents on this whole internet -> search Engine -> Social media things and my rational on why there is a need for a portal to provide a quick and intelligent decision for both the consumer and the companies about their online connections. A Platform to Help us to Distinguish Our Quality vs. Quantity Friends, Fans, Followers, and Companies:

    - Early 90s: WWW was born…
    - Mid – late 90s: Yahoo & Google were born to help us to find the right pages on the WWW…
    - Early 2000: Social media was born…
    - Late 2000: There are now millions of pages created by people, companies, and organizations on all these social media channels.
    - 2011: We are back to early 90’s

That is why I built awesomize.me to accomplish such a mission – the portal to all your existing social media channels.
