Framework Computer set out to fix one of its biggest weaknesses. The result is the Laptop 13 Pro. This machine brings a full redesign that delivers the long battery life users demanded. Yet it arrives with a price tag that forces tough choices.

Competitors offer strong alternatives at lower prices. Dell, HP and Lenovo sell well-equipped ultrabooks with similar processors for hundreds less. Apple continues to dominate battery and performance charts in many reviews. The Framework stands apart through its repair focus. Whether that difference justifies the premium depends on the buyer.
Framework updated its blog in recent weeks with further pricing adjustments and SSD options. The company listens to feedback. It reduced some costs and improved availability. Yet the core challenge remains. Premium materials and repairable design carry inherent expenses. Memory market conditions amplify them.
