  1. What is the best thing they did? The sort features they added are pretty damn good.

The worst thing they did? Was probably make a big deal out the China thing, as if the country was being invaded.

google is big brother evil – try searching google being successfully sued – bing/yahoo/amazon doesnt do that to us.

  2. Google introduction of virtual phone numbers and unified messaging for end users is terrific. Calls come in to my virtual number in another area code and forward if unanswered to my Google voice mail in box. Voice messages can be listened to or viewed by email using Google’s speech to text format! Schweet :)

  3. It still looks live avibrant company that like to aquire others technology and ideas. Yet, what projjects did they complete in 2010? Lots of new ones started, but no really good ones finished. They started as the best search. Now they are jack of all trades. What ever next?

  4. In the second quarter of 2010 Google (support) helped to reconnect my old Adsense account for my new website: http://WWW.CaptainCyberZone.Com
Now, for 2011, if they could help me get a top 10 first page listing … I’d kiss their Googley butt
    in 2012!

  5. BMD

They succeeded in making my life more confusing and complicated than it already was.
    Thanks Google!

  6. Probably the takeover of coupon company Groupon, 5 to 6 villion offered and Groupon still walked away from the deal!

  7. “Google was targeted in an attack that led to the whole situation with Google and China that has dominated many headlines throughout the year.” This was probably what I enjoyed most. Wonder how its going to end :) Thanks, got a lot of links to check out :)

    Happy 2011

  8. Frank

Google did something good in 2010? must have missed it.

  9. Google wont crawl my site http://www.casino-view.com any suggestions ? they certainly didn’t help me in 2010 ! Is it possible i’m sandboxed ?

  10. Wow! I’m impressed. Google is a go getter. I hope that small businesses learn from them. Google is willing to venture into untrodden waters and knows when to back out when the fight is not worth it. The old saying is true. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I believe Google is on top of the search engines because it isn’t complacent. It is constantly trying to understand the market and anticipate its needs. I love that. I can’t complain.

  11. It seems that we should ask what Google didn’t do, it feels like they want to do so many things..

  12. Google we have been working for months to get our ratings up on our corporate website http://www.twitteentertainment.com and some how all our traffic still keeps coming from all our other pointers. What else do we need to do to make sure this corporate site becomes as great as Sincityworld.com?
