Yahoo News Top Web Site On Election Day

Hitwise has released election online traffic results that show Yahoo News was the most visited Web site overall among the news and political Web sites grabbing  .72 percent of all U.S. visits representing a 55 percent increase on election day.CNN.com was the most visited TV network Web site receiving .61 percent of all U.S. Internet visits. CNN.com's visits increased 146 percent on Tuesday compared to Monday. MSNBC.com was the second most visited Web site receiving .40 percent of Internet visits and seeing a 122 percent increase in traffic.

Social Networking Tied To Reality TV

Reality TV fans are more likely to accept friends they don't know in order to build larger networks on social networking sites than those who who watch less reality TV,according to researchers from the University of Buffalo and the University of Hawaii.
