Santorum Wins 3 – Twitter Opinion Split

Rick Santorum won the Minnesota and Colorado caucuses and a nonbinding primary in Missouri on Tuesday. That’s four states he has now won, compared to Newt Gingrich’s one. Mitt Romney’s “inevitable” sweep to GOP victory now looks less set-in-stone.

Opinions on what Santorum’s victories mean vary. Liberals are split between a) celebrating the news, presuming he would offer no competition to President Obama in a general election, and b) bemoaning it as an outrageous affront to women and gays.

Conservatives either a) like it, as they support Santorum, b) like it, as they don’t like the “inevitability” of Romney foisted upon them, or c) hate it, because they too fear he could not beat Obama.
