Quora Gets More Topic-OrientedBy: Chris Crum - September 11, 2012
Quora has launched a new topic feed and topic pages, as well as a Trending Topics section to its homepage.
“The biggest change you’ll notice is that the feed for each topic now highlights the very best content in that topic, with all of the quality and personalization of your home feed,” says Quroa in a blog post. “For example, content you’ve seen before won’t keep showing up in the topic feed.”
The new topic pages have three sections for each page: About, Questions and Manage.
The About section is an overview of the topic that can be edited by anyone. This includes description, FAQs, location info, and place in the ontology structure. The Questions section provides complete lists of all questions that have been added to the topic, with additional pages for open questions and best questions. The Manage section provides access to settings related to managing a topic and a log of recent changes.
