    Nice article Josh.

I think it is totally ludicrous and a profound waste of tax payers money to spend time shutting down targeted poker sites when gambling is as univerasally available as liquor, and there is an array of pressing societal
issues which need to be addressed by the DOJ. Sure, if certain individuals are doing something illegal then proscecute the individuals, why shut down
entire sites that are being played on by honest folks who like to play poker on-line in the comfort of their homes, and don’t want to listen to the inane banter and individuals who populate live poker tables. Frankly,
I feel violated and insulted with all this. WTF!?

I had over $6200 on both Fulltilt and Pokerstars combined and don’t think I will be joining any other rooms until I see that money. I might exercise a little patience and “wait this one out” with Josh. As for putting in a couple hundred into a currently accepted online poker site (doyles/bodog/ppm) to play, that is probably what I will try when I do eventually get my money. Hopefully that will be sooner than later though . . . . wish Obama and our government would just push through a bill like Bush did with the UEIGA in 2006. They would win a lot of people back with that move.

it’s about time they hammered these conjobs!! seriously..if you think that these sites are anyway whatsiver legit, you are the most naive person in the world!!they are all “monitored”by one “independent”indian tribe!! maybe poker will go back to a game of SKILL once again instead of these online morons who play any garbage, get lucky, and then think they have talent.how many of these so called “online pros”stay around for a long period of time?? really think the likes of tom dwan will be around in 10 years w/out full tilt paying his buy ins..don’t bet on it!!thank you us govt.for this!!keep these online idiots at their home games and away from the real players!!

Wow Mike sounds like you are a big freaking fish. The poker sites have nothing to gain by fixing the outcome of a game. Yeah you can get sucked out on from time to time but if you manage you bankroll you can overcome the bad beats in the long run. I’ve seen Tom Dwan play live against other top pros in cash games and win on a consistent basis. You just sound bitter. Study some poker books and maybe you will get better.

  7. My guess is that the government legalizes online poker within 2 years. Great source of tax revenue!

First I’d just like to say to Mike…. Heads up for a Hundred Moron???

Next: I may be the only one in this situation but if I were Gary Loveman (Ceo of Ceasars ent. for those who do not know) I would be doing everything in my power to get this online mess fixed asap. I personally have my bankroll for the Wsop at the Rio tied up online….. I generally spend 4 to 5 weeks in Vegas playing 25 to 30 events including the main event. That trip is in serious jepordy as I’m sure many others are as well. So if anybody tells you that this crack down will help the brick and mortor pokerrooms they are like Mike………..

  9. Excellent site. Lots of helpful info here. I am sending it to several friends ans also sharing in delicious. And certainly, thank you to your effort!
