MovieTickets.com Partners With Xbox Live

MovieTickets.com said today it has been selected to provide an online movie ticketing service via the Microsoft Xbox 360.

Xbox Live users in the U.S. are now able to make mobile movie ticket purchases through a text-in or a Microsoft Tag viewed in movie studio advertisements.  By clicking on a film’s advertisement on Xbox Live, a user can download and interact with movie content.

In addition, they can activate a Microsoft Tag via their mobile phone which will point the user to a co-branded website to purchase tickets through all domestic MovieTickets theater partners.
