@Jelly Guy Says No Offer Has Been Made For Twitter Handle

As previously reported, Jelly is trying to get the @Jelly Twitter handle, which currently belongs to a Marine who has had it since 2008.

Here’s his first tweet:


Jelly, which for now, is stuck with the @jellyhq handle, reached out to @Jelly on Tuesday:


Then they took the conversation private:


@Jelly now tells us that no offer was made, but he may end up just giving them the account.


Jelly’s (the company) motto is “Let’s help each other.” They ought to at least give him something in return, no?

    A t-shirt? I would hold out for those Super Bowl tickets. Of course, if Jelly has filed to trademark the name, Twitter could just end up forcing him to give it up.
